PROBLEM TO SOLVE
The Box & Burgers Eatery, an Asian fusion and burger restaurant, lacks an engaging point-of-purchase (POP) display that attracts customer attention. How can we design and implement an appealing POP display that boosts sticker sales and enhances the overall experience at The Box?

DEMOGRAPHIC RESEARCH
The Box & Burger Eatery caters to a family-friendly audience, including both adults and children. It attracts foodies, particularly those who enjoy burgers, and serves locals from the greater Seattle area.

PROCESS & INSIGHTSFor the Stickers: I narrowed down my sticker set to six designs to be sold. The selected stickers include food-related themes (mochi donut, bubble tea, and a custom burger sticker) to appeal to the food lovers who frequent The Box. Additionally, I chose some playful, meme-related stickers to engage the children that parents bring to the restaurant.

For the Point of Purchase: To create an eye-catching display, I designed a large capybara cutout to sit atop the sticker stand. Capybara footprints were placed on the counter to add an interactive element, suggesting a capybara escaping from a burger. This design choice conveys a playful and mischievous feeling, aligning with the whimsical nature of the stickers.

The original 12 capybara stickers I designed; 5 of which were selected and a custom capybara burger sticker was illustrated for the restaurant.
