CBD Treatibles offer dog-friendly CBD treats designed to restore, relax, and protect the health of your furry companion. This project aimed to create a unified brand identity across packaging, web design, and social media, presenting a compelling narrative to pet owners about the reliability of our veterinarian-formulated and laboratory-tested dog treats.

PROBLEM TO SOLVE
How can we create a CBD dog treat brand that is differentiated from competitors in the marketplace, while creating effective packaging, website, social media templates for a cohesive brand experience?

RESEARCH & BACKGROUND Competitive research analysis was first done to assess the current marketplace. Research from the actual formulation of different brand’s CBD treats to web design, packaging and social media patterns. After gathering all this information, I knew how I wanted to position my own brand: an all natural, veterinarian-formulated and laboratory tested CBD dog treat, backed by science and facts.





The recipe for the logo
PROCESSKnowing that CBD Treatibles is focused on the science and chemistry behind the product, a system of hexagons taken from the molecular structure of CBD was used as the backbone of CBD Treatibles’ identity; logo design, packaging, social media templates and more.

Focusing on how CBD Treatibles is scientifically backed, hexagons (taken from the molecular structure of CBD) became the backbone of the brand—as patterns, textures and incorporated into the logo. The colors chosen are a mixture of earth tones and relaxing colors. Imagery features our key ingredients and healthy dogs as a result of these treats.

VISUAL DESIGNThe front of the packaging features our archetype dog, alongside a silhouette of Joanne and her dog. Icons were created to show  the pillars of CBD Treatibles in order to create trust between potential consumers. The backstory for how the brand was developed, creates a sense of empathy.

Our social media strategy focuses on 3 different goals:
  1. Demystify and educate: educating dog owners on benefits of CBD, debunking preconceived notions, and frequently asked questions.
  2. Raise awareness and giveback: feature and share information on animal rescue events, boost awareness about animals in need and those who have been helped from our brand promoting adopting a dog.
  3. Community building and engagement: build loyal followers through user generated content, social media contests/giveaways, and promotional offers/discounts

The actual metastory that created the brand, FAQ if dog-owners still have any doubts, and a social media and place to sign up for newsletters to create engagement.
